PCCED INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Philippine Center for Civic Education and Democracy (PCCED) is seeking talented, principled and dedicated individuals to fill internship roles for its various projects. The PCCED Internship Program is an outstanding opportunity for students of political science, public administration, education, mass communications, social sciences and other related fields to get hands-on experience working in a non-government organization.

The Philippine Center for Civic Education and Democracy (PCCED) is a non-stock, non-profit organization dedicated to the effective promotion of good citizenship and participatory democracy through education. By “good citizenship” we mean a reasoned commitment to fundamental democratic values and principles manifested in an active engagement in civic life.

The qualified interns will provide valuable research, administrative and logistical support to the staff at the PCCED office thereby gaining unparalleled insights into the inner workings of civil society movements. By becoming an intern, you will gain valuable skills and experience on any of the following:

Conducting research

Project managementProject monitoring and evaluation

Networking with stakeholders at the grassroots level

Networking with government, funding institutions and donor agencies

Developing project proposals

The dates and schedule of internship are flexible depending on your own schedule and the requirements of your school.
